Guest Speaker:  Wendy Simpson

Bio: Wendy Simpson, is widely regarded as a pioneer as an experienced entrepreneur and business leader and has made a career by driving innovation and change. Wendy has held key leadership roles across a number of traditionally male-dominated industries, and has been a tireless advocate for women in business and female entrepreneurs.

Wendy was appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in 2025 for significant service to social welfare, to cultural and church organisations, and as a mentor, particularly for her work with World Vision, The General Sir John Monash Foundation, Alphacrucis University College and mentoring female entrepreneurs.  Wendy previously was the recipient of an Order of Australia Medal for her work in establishing programs for youth homelessness and establishing a national organisation for young people in foster care. Wendy has also been inducted into the Australian Businesswomen’s Hall of Fame and listed as one of Australia’s 100 Women of Influence by the Australian Financial Review.

Wendy and her husband Geoffrey of 47 years have been part of Citizens Church [formerly known as C3 God in the City] for many years , carrying a heart for the local church and their city. They are both much loved and respected in our C3 Australia family and beyond.
